Mary Jane Zissoff Studied Glass Art with Mrs. Nancy Goodman, 1975. Nancy and Russell C. Goodman, C.M., have executed over 1,000 windows in Canada the most impressive being the House of Commons windows in the Parliament Building, Ottawa, Ontario. Studied with Paul Marioni, International Glass Artist, At the Banff School of Fine Arts, Banff, Alberta - summer 1980. Various private and commercial commissions for the housing industry: Heron Homes; Canada Homes; Sandbury Homes; The Georgian Group; Glenway Development; Mattamy Homes. Various restorations executed on antique windows. T.V. workshop presentations on Glass Art for Arts Scarborough Fall - 1981; Fall - 1983. Taught Glass Art for Scarborough Board of Education. Design Competitor for the Robbie Burns Memorial Window St. Giles' Cathedral. Edinburg, Scotland, January 1981. Formed TRILOGY OF ART, August 1983 with daughter Angela executing paintings and friend, Laura Barnett executing weavings. Executed various crafts: crochet, knitting, needlepoint, calligraphy, oils, watercolours, mosaics. |
